Hometown Heroes

The West Babylon Community Youth Center would like to recognize these individuals for donating their time and resources.

All the parents

… Who have registered their children at the youth center. Because of this, the Board of Directors are able to donate 50 turkeys for Thanksgiving to families in need. With Christmas approaching, the Board of Directors have gone shopping and purchased 300 toys and donated them to two local churches for families in need.

All Our Coaches

… Who are here at the youth center for volunteering and giving up there time to coach and teach the children. Mock WBCYC 2018

Mr. John Boyle

The Town of Babylon and the West Babylon Youth Center are here to honor the brave men and women who saved a man’s life. Mr. John Boyle suffered a heart attack while playing in a men’s basketball game at the WBCYC in April 2018. Our staff and the first responders were here to save a man's life. We are proud to say that John Boyle is back and running up and down the court with us here at the Youth Center. Mock Hat's off to all the heroes involved

… Seeking her Girl Scouts Gold Award, she held a fundraiser to buy and build a ping-pong table and two shelving units for the West Babylon Youth Center.

John Evola

… Who donates an anonymous free registration every time he registers his son and daughter in a program and has also donated 2 foosball tables to center.

All Town of Babylon Elected Officials

… Who always help and support our programs and assist us to grow.

West Babylon Main Street Organization

… Their cooperation with the West Babylon school district coordinates "Backpacks for Hunger", food drives to help feed West Babylon student families in need.
